1 Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly coat a 2-quart rectangular baking dish with cooking spray. Place broccoli florets in the prepared dish.
2 Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-low heat. Add shallot and cook, stirring occasionally, until softened, about 4 minutes. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute more.
3 Stir in broth and cream. Increase heat to high and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until slightly thickened, 5 to 6 minutes.
4 Stir in sun-dried tomatoes, thyme, crushed red pepper, salt, and pepper until well combined. Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese.
5 Pour the sauce evenly over the broccoli.
