Ingredients: 6 large eggs, hard boiled and peeled; 3 tablespoons mayonnaise, or more as needed; 1 tablespoon gin (or vodka); 1-1/2 teaspoons olive brine, or more to taste; 1 teaspoon dry vermouth; 3/4 teaspoon dry mustard powder; salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste; 2 tablespoons finely minced pitted green olives; 12 green olives for garnish

6 large eggs, hard boiled and peeled
3 tablespoons mayonnaise, or more as needed
1 tablespoon gin (or vodka)
1-1/2 teaspoons olive brine, or more to taste
1 teaspoon dry vermouth
3/4 teaspoon dry mustard powder
salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons finely minced pitted green olives
12 green olives for garnish

Instructions

1 Slice eggs in half lengthwise, carefully remove yolks, and set egg whites aside.
2 Add yolks to a bowl, and mash using a fork. Stir in mayonnaise, gin, olive brine, dry vermouth, mustard powder, salt, and pepper until well combined and smooth (for a totally creamy texture, place everything in a mini food processor, and blend until smooth). Stir in minced green olives until well combined.
3 Add yolk mixture to a piping bag and using a large tip, pipe into each egg white. You also can fill with a spoon, or use a resealable plastic bag with a corner clipped to pipe out the yolks.
4 Chill until ready to serve. Garnish each deviled egg with a whole olive, secured with a toothpick.
