2 ounces cream cheese or Boursin cheese, room temperature
8 strips bacon (not thick-cut), cut into fifths
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
Crushed red pepper flakes, to taste, optional

Instructions

1 Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
2 Lay the crackers in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Smear each cracker with a little cream cheese (about 1/2 teaspoon), then top each cracker with a piece of bacon, pressing it lightly to help it adhere. Sprinkle with brown sugar and top with red pepper flakes, if using.
